Boutique Nicole was established in 1996, and named after my daughter because it was really in my search of quality shoes for her and how I realized that there was a really huge need for proper children’s shoes. Having had experience in the shoe retailing sector in Denmark, I already knew something about shoes. I refused to put my own child in PVC footwear with blinking lights. This was the start of “Boutique Nicole”

For me it was great to open my own shop, since I am educated within shoe industry. Finding the right supplier of quality shoes in Europe with leather lining, soles and last is of utmost importance. The right shoes for children feet are essential and a must, because these tiny feet are going to carry your body weight for rest of your life.

Within a year, demand had grown so tremendously that “Boutique Nicole” had outgrown the initial store. And I moved to a much bigger unit, at the second level in the Tanglin Mall. Today my shop is very well known here in Singapore, and we do have a great crowd of loyal regular customers. This I am sure is due to the commitment from me and my entire staff and the quality of well known brands we carry. Our merchandise is all imported from Europe.

My shop does also carry great range of children’s clothing ranging from newborn to 8 years from established European labels.
